During the trip, I noticed many different graphic design elements including but not limited to, serif and sans serif typefaces, environ-mental text, perfectly aligned text, and text hierarchy. Most of the pictures show sans serif text faces, except for the 111-115 Broadway picture that shows both serif and sans serif text faces. This image also uses text hierarchy to emphasize “111-115 Broadway” in the image. The redline color combination in this image made me enjoy the image as well. The picture of the plant structure to create the letters “EO” is an example of environ-mental text since it creates its own environment. The last image with “Directory” shows decorative text faces along with sans serif text faces in different sizes and the complementing colors made the poster easy to read.
